(very early morning) Chase the moon at La Barceloneta

We love starting the day with myself and myself, and for that reason grabbing a bike and going to Barcelona´s seafront it’s an inspiring moment to start a quirky 24-hour adventure in this fantastic city. Take a moment for yourself, as simple as that.

(8:00 am) Visit Barcelona’s Satan

A prestigious member of the Barcelona´s new generation of coffee lovers, Satan´s coffee corner is the trendy and eclectic spot where you can prepare your day´s schedule. Satan´s cafe offers a delicious and healthy choice of food and of course the best coffee in Barcelona. Irresistible!

(9:00 am) Go to Church in Barcelona

One of the most Instagrammed places in the world is in Barcelona, and you wouldn’t like to miss it. La Sagrada Familia, according to TripAdvisor ranks #5 among the best things to see in the world, and is not even finished!

(10:00 am) Explore El Poblenou new trendy district

One of the most active and alternative districts of Barcelona is El Poblenou; a former industrial area in the city, home to world top startups, trendy cafe bars, art galleries, and nightlife. A walk by its Rambla and a visit to the Palo Alto Market (on weekends only) will show you what young people are plotting these days in Barcelona.

(12:00 am) Make a stop at Can Dende for the best Barcelona brunch

Before leaving El Poblenou, Can Dende, is a must stop for the best Barcelona brunch as quoted by almost every local food blogger. It is difficult to recommend a dish because they are all good! Though we really like their pulled pork, probably the best in Barcelona, a classic these days!

(13:00 pm) Drive your bike through Parc de L´Estacio del Nord, Arc de Triomf and visit Park de la Ciutadella

This is a fantastic way to admire Barcelona´s approach to integrating green areas into its urban landscape, which is quite unique in Europe. After strolling your way around the Park de la Ciutadella we recommend you to see Antoni Tapies homage to Pablo Picasso at the crossroads of Mercantil and Picasso Boulevards.

Important Note: in case you need to practice Spain´s national sport: ¨La siesta¨, we recommend you to make a stop at the Hammock Station, a fantastic juice spot with a bunch of hammocks. For more healthy bars in town, you can take a look at our favorite Barcelona eateries that serve cold press juices as well, but no other will have a hammock in town!

(15:00 pm) Wanderlust at El Born and uncover medieval gems and quirky old stories

El Born (¨jousting field¨) is one of the most vibrant Barcelona´s neighborhoods and with plenty of tapas bars and restaurants, chic boutiques and a unique medieval flavor that surrounds it. All in all, it includes a bunch of top things to see in Barcelona, such as Santa Maria del Mar or the Picasso´s Museum. We also developed a free walking route around El Born that include quirky findings and our favorite spots for tapas and drinks.

(17:00 pm) Get to the Barcelona Gothic District and check something unusual

Meet the tourist mass and discover Barcelona´s most visited area which used to be a Roman village, locally known as Barri Gotic, in Roman times! that’s long time ago! We really like Plaça d’Isidre Nonell where ¨the World Begins With Every Kiss¨ photo-mosaic created over 4000 unique tiles which are in fact an individual picture donated by Barcelona residents.

(18:00 pm) Submerge yourself into the local craft beer scene at El Raval district

Rapidly cross through the mass of tourists at world famous Ramblas and pay a visit to the hipster´s hangouts that are brewing amazing beers and rocking the Barcelona culinary scene among tapas and beer lovers.

(19:00 pm) Hit the Angels Square for modern art and eclectic vibes

This is the place where the ambiance dominates the scene. Skaters rumbling around the medieval Convent dels Angels, the Barcelona Museum of Contemporary Art (MACBA), Chillida´s revolutionary mural G-333 and the reproduction of Keith Haring´s graffiti that made a call to stop HIV back in 1989. Just find a spot for sightseeing and enjoy!

At this point, you might need some time relaxing at your hotel, and we really like Hotel Brumell as the perfect place to stop in Barcelona for 24 hours or more! It is located a breath away from the Angels Square, at a completely off the beaten track area.

(21:00 pm) Time for a cocktail: Libertine Bar

Get to feel the Barcelona gorgeous atmosphere in this intimate yet trendy cocktail bar located at Hotel Casa Bonay. Needless to say that their cocktails are just unbeatable.

(22:00 pm) Indulge your glutony at a Barcelona local restaurant

Barcelona has a countless variety of restaurants, and depending on what you are looking for, we would recommend those looking for an intimate super-class dinner to head to Ca L`Isidre, or for a trendy fusion bite at Palo Cortao or Mano Rota, all around the same area (Sant Antoni and El Poblesec working class districts).
