It is out of discussion that Barcelona is a kind of an open-air museum that hosts outnumbered world-class tapas bars, and that it has a privileged weather all year long. The city has around 200 km of cycle paths that cross stunning architecture as well as beach boardwalks. Cruising the city of counts on a bike, on a guided Barcelona tour, has been one of the best things when uncovering gems that are somehow hidden to the visitors. Whether you are a solo traveler or you are in Barcelona with friends or family, these 3 Barcelona tours by bike are simply amazing. From our small tours venture, we enjoyed all of them and they are the perfect way to discover the city in a sustainable way.

ART BIKE TOUR

Art Gallery with Barcelona Art Bike Tour

Soon to be rated among the top things to do in Barcelona, the Art Bike Tour is a project founded by 3 enthusiastic entrepreneurs who are passionate about contemporary art, just in a city that is devoted to it! They use the bike as a way to connect art that is spread out in the city.

Barcelona Art Bike Tour Aigua de Moritz

We met at the iconic Fabrica Moritz, the first brewery founded in Barcelona during the days of the industrial revolution and we were handed over with a fresh ¨aigua de moritz¨, a local beer without alcohol as to keep ourselves well hydrated during a ride that included art galleries in Eixample, El Born and Ciutat Vella Districts, a stop for more ¨aigua de Moritz¨ at El Born Cultural and Memorial Center.

Each gallery displays iterative contemporary art exhibitions and we loved the fact that Duda, our arty guide, gave us an amazing insight at each of them, as well as in the public art displays which are spread all over the city. We couldn’t count how many times we walked by an amazing figure in Barcelona, and never got the astounding history and facts behind it. On the way back we enjoyed a well-deserved cold Moritz Beer! Lovely Barcelona Tour!

BARCELONA STREET STYLE TOUR

I met Mike at one of my favorite quirky spots in town, George Orwell´s square on a Sunday morning to collect our bikes and head to the ever industrial trendy district Poblenou where one uncovers the remnants of the Industrial Revolution, Murals from top street artists and iconic architectural treasures. On our way we paid tribute to Space Invaders and understood what is the Barcelona street art style!

Barcelona Encants Flea Market

The stroll is scenic and mind opening. It is just a different part of Barcelona, with a unique vibe that contrast Barcelona´s bustling center, sometimes I could feel myself somewhere else, and as a local I must admit that I discovered El Clot, an awesome district to visit with an incredible street art scene (quite uncommon to Barcelona), with probably the coolest park in town and a mix of industrial, modern and modernist architecture, I really liked that. Hooking up with Barcelona Street Style Tour is a great idea for locals and visitors, as you will discover hidden gems of street art and well known works with tons of super interesting information given by Mike. They also have Barcelona walking tours.
