This array of plants hanging on a wall is where local’s like to take selfies and post them on Instagram. It is the charmest corner of Barcelona, and it is located in El Born district, a fantastic area for eating and shopping locally.

Get a glimpse of day to day life during the days of Modernism, when Catalonia’s culture was at its splendor and when everyone wanted to be part of it, bakers inclusive. This shop is open since 1863, and sweets and pastries are delicious!

Get to any Barcelona wine shop, drink a glass of Catalan Wine and spot a group of wine lovers, they are friendly and chatty. You might fall in love!

CAIXA FORUM TERRACE

An old factory reconverted into a cultural center is one of the most visited places in Barcelona, especially by the locals, but not many know that when getting to its terrace another perspective of the city can be captured. Just go up from the entrance located in the middle hall, close to the ticket office. Fantastic thing to see in Barcelona.

Entering this Futuristic building built in the 1970s will surprise you with an infinite number of hallways and stairs. Just ask neighbors to let you get to its terrace, you will be delighted and probably won’t remember how many photography spots you counted on your way up. And you are still, within Barcelona confines.
